The Cloud Security Architect (AWS, GCP, or Azure) leads technical sales activities alongside Sales Representatives, Sales Engineers, and Partners to capitalize on new and upsell opportunities. Leveraging DevOps experience and expertise in the AWS, GCP, or Azure ecosystem, they spearhead sales endeavors centered on securing cloud infrastructure. They primarily support regional operations but may collaborate with global teams, advocating the business value of the Cloud platform to technical and C-level executives, and taking ownership of sales outcomes.
Responsibilities include:
- Understanding customer requirements and ensuring successful integration of Cloud solutions into the customers’ environment.
- Delivering sales presentations, presenting technical information about Cloud products and services, and conducting in-depth product demonstrations.
- Managing all phases of product evaluations, engaging in pipeline generating activity such as presenting at seminars or webinars, ensuring product alignment in responding to RFP’s and RFI’s, and providing strategic feedback to product development teams.
- Creating and providing product and business value enablement training for sales, SEs, and partners.
- Ability to work independently and team collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to articulate the importance of Cloud Security Analytics and Threat Detection and evangelize Cloud as the leader in the market to end-users of all levels.
Requirements include:
- Located in one of the following Eastern states: ME, NH, VT, MA, RI, CT, NY, NJ, PA, DE, MD, WV, VA, NC, SC, GA, FL, OH, IN, MI, KY, TN.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from a four-year College or Technical School AND3-5 years of experience in a customer facing role OR equivalent combination or education and experience.
- Strong written, oral, and presentation skills.
- Ability to discuss highly technical concepts to all audiences, ranging from non-technical to executive level decision makers.
- Experience administrating AWS, GCP or Azure accounts, deploying via CloudFormation or Terraform, and working in a DevOps environment.
- Extensive knowledge of the AWS, GCP or Azure ecosystem, native capabilities, and ISVs.
- Exposure to administration of Cloud applications including: Box, GitHub, Okta, Zoom, Jira, Slack.
- No cybersecurity experience required.
