Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide primary care services to patients of all ages, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and the management of chronic conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat common acute illnesses and injuries
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
- Maintain accurate medical documentation using electronic health records (EHR)
- Perform minor surgical procedures as needed (repair lacerations, I&D etc
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner specialization
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
- Experience working in a clinic, medical office, or urgent care setting preferred
- Proficiency in medical documentation and coding
- Knowledge of pain management techniques
- Familiarity with medical imaging procedures
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to provide compassionate patient care
