Machine Learning Engineer - Deep Neural Networks
Since the Mid-90's, we've been partnering with the US government & more recently commercial entities taking a unique approach to R&D and applying that toward real-world solutions. We provide extensive expertise in Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) image processing algorithm development, computer vision, modeling and analysis of radar systems & pattern recognition technologies.
We are looking to add an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to our esteemed team who can develop cutting edge Deep Learning technologies in the domains of Computer Vision, Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), and Geospatial Exploitation. Due to the hands-on and sensitive nature of our work, our ideal candidate will have an active Top Secret DoD Security Clearance and be willing to work out of our HQ in El Segundo, CA.
Position Overview: The Machine Learning Engineer - Deep Neural Networks will develop, train, and deploy machine learning algorithms and neural networks to solve challenging real-world problems. The engineer will work with a wide range of tools including Python, TensorFlow, pandas, NumPy, Keras, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and open source frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement machine learning algorithms & deep neural networks

Perform data analysis using pandas, NumPy, and other libraries

Train & deploy ML models in cloud environments

Develop & maintain code for production-grade ML applications (Python, etc.)

Collaborate with other engineers to optimize models while improving accuracy

Create visualizations to monitor model performance

Troubleshoot & debug machine learning models
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field

1-5+ years of experience in Machine Learning (ML), Data Science, and Artificial Intelligence (AI), ideally with deep learning experience

Knowledge in Python, C/C++, TensorFlow, and Neural Networks

Ideally you've worked with most or some of the following: Computer Vision, Radar, SAR, Lidar, Matlab, Deep Neural Networks, pandas, NumPy, Keras, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and open source frameworks

Excellent debugging and problem solving skills

Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
