The Regional Operations Director for the AGI Ground division will lead a region of respective airport operations in various markets. Overarching responsibility on ensuring customer performance goals and company standards are met. Performance driven mindset that possesses a strong financial acumen that understands the importance of revenue growth and driving improvements for cost reduction and cost avoidance measures. Oversees your regions labor planning and development of General Managers and staff to ensure regional compliance with airport and airline partners. Assist the Vice president of the region with focus stations (on and off site). Maintains regulatory policies and procedures in a safe, ethical, and professional manner. This position will report into a Regional VP of Operations
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Deliver superior operational performance by leading cross functional teams in the execution of efficient, safe, and secure day-to-day operations.

Be the direct link to the customer along with internal departments on changes, issues, and action plans.

Control SLA penalties and create and execute mitigation processes to conform to customer’s KPIs.

Provide exceptional customer service through the creative management of people, processes, policies while leveraging technology.

Sustain and further a cost-effective and efficient operation through sound and innovative fiscal management and oversight.

Evaluate financial needs of the station, develop budget strategies to increase profitability to ensure operational growth and forecast changes to station economics.

Partner with airport authorities and internal stakeholders to ensure steady growth while maintaining safety and operational and service performance.

Develop key team members in leadership roles and drive success through active coaching and counseling.

May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change due to operational needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Adept budget planning with emphasis on unconventional ways to reduce costs and improve operational efficiencies.

In-depth experience in ground handling to include PAX services, ramp services, cleaning, bag room in a complex environment.

Demonstrated P&L experience managing no less than $30M in annual revenues in multiple locations.

Be a leader, a coach and mentor while maintaining accountability.

Create and execute a positive culture driven environment.

Ability to build and acknowledge cultural awareness as it relates to air travel and human resource management.

Uplift and encourage team member collaboration through briefings. Set realistic goals, clear expectations, and seek collaborative group feedback to refine.

Build cohesiveness within all station operations with fellow Directors to ensure alignment and standardization of company goals.

Possess strong project management skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams to provide positive results.

Ability to travel 75% of the time.

Airline industry experience is required.
