Job Description:
The manufacturing planner coordinates with the plant manager to ensure 100% accountability of all forecasted builds, work in progress and completed units on the manufacturing line. Responsible for analyzing bills of materials (BOMs) and understanding impacts of changes to the BOMs that affects production routing and inventory levels. Coordinates with procurement, manufacturing, warehouse and accounting to ensure timely decisions are made by the plant manager. Additionally, the planner develops and maintains an optimized manufacturing schedule ensuring its accuracy and completeness allowing the plant manager to timely deploy units based on customer demand. A key function of the position is timely reporting to the plant manager of key metrics and detailed documentation of all completed units . The planner inputs and interprets data in the ERP system to support manufacturing. A successful manufacturing planner is a strong leader, a good problem solver and self-motivated.
Essential Duties:

Manufacturing experience and knowledge of supply chain processes.
