We are looking for an Office Manager for our growing Marietta, Georgia landscape services company serving the Atlanta area. Job activities include answering customer and vendor office calls, maintaining financial records including purchases, sales, receipts and payments, process accounts payable and receivable, and payroll processing. Our ideal candidate has a bookkeeping or accounting background and has experience using Quickbooks, MS Office, and Google apps. Ultimately, the Office manager should be able to ensure the smooth running of the office and help to improve company procedures and day-to-day operation.
Responsibilities
- Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
- Reconcile vendor, credit, and bank accounts
- Communicate with vendors and customers
- Assist in new hire onboarding
- Maintain employee records
- Complete tax forms
- Enter data, maintain records, and review financial statements
- Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner
Requirements
- Proven bookkeeping experience
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
- Proficiency in Quickbooks, MS Office, and Google apps
- Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
