Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. You will evaluate developmental skills, plan and implement program services which assist identified students in improving those skills by following district, state, and federal guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Participate as a member of the Child Study Team/referral review team and attend screening, staffing, and program planning meetings.
- Select appropriate assessment instruments and evaluate developmental skills of those students referred.
- Gather data from parents, other providers, or outside agencies pertinent to the assessment and required MDE data collection activities.
- Administer and interpret diagnostic data to identify the needs of the student.
- Request assistance from others, when needed, for more comprehensive assessment.
- Conduct annual IEP/IFSP conferences to receive input from team member and write appropriate plan.
- Establish instructional goals and objectives to meet individual student needs.
- Instruct ECSE students using techniques and materials, maintain long term and daily teaching plans which include group and individual objectives.
- Maintain communication with parents, staff, administrators, and outside agencies relating to the students’ IEP/IFSP
- Coordinate team members in planning and implementing parent programs and home visitations.
- Work with parents to guide progress of their child, coordinate services, and communicate with other agencies.
- Case management involving development, coordination, and implementation of the IEP/IFSP. Collaborate with team members, medical personnel, and paraprofessionals to maximize IEP/IFSP services.
Experience:
- No previous experience is required

Pay: $53,769.00 - $87,749.00 per year
