We are looking for an energetic, positive, and driven sales leader to drive our company sales team. We are looking for someone who would work closely with every member of the team and would be responsible, data-driven and passionate for interior plant scaping.
Essential Functions
- Focus on Corporation sales
- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensure it’s strong presence *
- Identify, train, manage and occasionally terminate channel partners, where appropriate, across the region.
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
- Identify and structure relationships with strategic partners, agents and distributors that can help the company achieve sales targets within the Company’s target geographies and applications*
- Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team *
- Communicate sales and design concepts clearly
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status *
- Identify and hire additional personnel/resources to grow regional sales
Required:
- 5+ years in a commercial and sales role managers (within the horticulture realm is a plus)
- Ability to cold call regularly on other potential customers
- Fluent in English – spoken and written.
Preferred, but not required:
- Fluent in Spanish – spoken and written
- Knowledge of Interior Plantscaping and interior design
General Skills / Abilities
- Proven attention to detail and organization
- Ability to handle problems in the field as they occur including communicating with customers in a reassuring way
- Self-starter, with the ability to work independently and productively in remote locations with minimal supervision
- Ability and desire to always improve verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Gsuite and SalesForce
- Willing to travel, efficiently and economically, as required to meet job requirements (some weekend travel required)
