The Financial Portfolio Post Award Analyst is a critical member of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences (DPBS) Financial Services Team and plays a crucial role in the overall successful support and management of funding for the Faculty & Principal Investigators specifically in Post Award Funds Management. The Financial Portfolio Post Award Analyst independently provides broad analytical fund management to a group of Research focused Faculty, with overall complex budget, financial, and resource analysis . The Analyst will rely on strong communication skills to be able to present and discuss data and reports to various client groups. The candidate will successfully research, interpret, clarify and apply all applicable Grants & Contract, Agency, Departmental, and University policies and regulation, and to be able to clearly communicate the complexities of language around such polices and regulations. This position requires a high level of ethics and professional standards to handle sensitive matters with tact and sound judgment. The Analyst will participate in larger dynamic Team projects, which will help to build the experience, understanding and networking skills for successful career development at UCSF
This is a hybrid-remote position, which includes a combination of 2 days on-site and remote work.
