Position Main Responsibilities
Patient Care
1. Obtain information to allow determination of compliance to dietary or medications regimen;
accurately document this information according to policies and procedures.
2. Administer medications, or other appropriate treatments per physician orders as needed, and
document activity.
3. Develops a trust relationship with all patients being sensitive to their fears, feelings, concerns,
and body language.
4. Practices within the scope of practice for an LVN according to company policies and procedures;
state guidelines, and within the Nurse Practice Act.
Quality Assurance
1. Complete all flow sheets.
2. Advise charge nurse of any supplies needed.
3. Participate in quality assurance program.
Qualifications
1. Current license for LPN/LVN in the state of practice.
2. IV certified and CPR certified.
3. Ability to communicate with all levels, whether professional or non-professional.
4. Bilingual preferred
