Logistics Coordinator
Full Time - Onsite Bartlett, IL
Summary
As Optibelt’s Logistics Coordinator, your primary role is to manage the flow of our material. You coordinate the receiving and shipping of LTL, FTL and FCL shipments. You will become part of our internal CTPAT team and uphold local processes. Additionally, you will support the warehouse office team with managing inventory control tasks as well as become familiar with our WMS. However, your responsibilities extend beyond these core duties to include the efficient distribution of materials and products. To ensure exceptional service quality and high customer satisfaction levels, you will also be accountable for initiating corrective actions when necessary. Successful execution of this role demands proficiency in every essential duty.
Your Primary Responsibilities are:

Identify receiving interruption (ie. Missing container seals and documents)

Review shipping KPI for UPS and FedEx and report monthly

Support during negotiations with small parcel carriers

Identify platforms to negotiate LTL rates; review shipping routes in North America

Support and manage internal material flow

Identify HTS for new parts to be imported or exported

Work with Import / Export brokers to guarantee a smooth flow of material internationally

Organize the receiving and shipping to customers

Fulfill CTPAT daily tasks

Review carrier invoices for accuracy

Marks materials with identifying information for shipping and/or receiving.

Cleans and keeps a clean work area.

Operates within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs)

Completes daily logs.

Schedules and dispatches for the receiving and shipping appointments.

Perform other various warehouse tasks as assigned by the Supervisor or Warehouse Manager
Skills and Requirements:

Exceptionally good organizational skills

Must have strong Excel skills (formulas and pivot tables)

Ability to think logically.

Excellent Math Skills, Basic Excel knowledge (advanced, a plus)

Fluent in English – verbal and written.

Understand written procedures.

The employee is expected to regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, not limited to constant sitting and clerical desk work.

Ability to work under time constraints.

Authorized to work in the U.S.
