PROVIDER JOB DETAILS
AWC PA is looking for a detail oriented and empathetic dual certified PMHNP/FNP to evaluate patients and prescribe medications as part of a treatment team with licensed counselors for patients who suffer from substance abuse disorder and mental health disorders. The prescribing nurse is also responsible for reporting patient treatment information. AWC PA works inside multiple substance abuse treatment facilities in various levels of care. This position would be working in 1 facility, a PHP/IOP SUD facility, providing medication management to the clients.
An ideal prescribing nurse candidate works cooperatively with supervisory counseling staff and demonstrates a non-judgmental and accepting attitude towards the patient.
