We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our dynamic Business Intelligence and Technology Services Team. As a Senior BI Analyst, you will play a key role in driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will be responsible for extracting, analyzing, and visualizing data to provide actionable insights that support strategic business initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain robust BI solutions, including reports, dashboards, and data visualizations, using tools such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, SOQL, MSSQL and/or other BI platforms.
- Create and maintain a robust Datawarehouse for the storage of historical data which can be retrieved and analyzed to provide useful insight into the organization’s operations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for BI solutions.
- Extract and manipulate data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
- Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business performance.
- Design and implement data models and architectures to support reporting and analysis needs.
- Conduct thorough data validation and quality assurance to ensure the accuracy and integrity of BI solutions.
- Provide expertise and guidance on best practices for BI development, data visualization, and data analysis.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to key stakeholders through clear and compelling presentations.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in business intelligence and data analytics.
- Flexibility is required to accommodate evolving business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or related roles.
- 5 years of experience working with large databases and data modeling.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience working with databases such as SQL Server, MyDBR, Oracle, or MySQL.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI platforms.
- Strong experience with data warehouse development and maintenance.
- Experience with Salesforce, Field Service and FinancialForce (formerly Certinia) for extracting and analyzing financial data.
- Familiarity with MSSQL or MyDBR for database management and reporting.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles for financial report and dashboard building to include metrics such as Revenue Growth Rate, Profit Margin, EBITDA, Cash Flow from Operations, Working Capital Ratio, Debt-to-Equity Ratio, ROI, DSO, Inventory Turnover Ratio, Operating Expense Ratio, CAC, Churn Rate, ROA, Gross Profit Margin, and Capex to Revenue Ratio.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality BI solutions that meet business requirements.
