Registered Nurse (RN) – Infusion
Part Time
Psychiatric Services of Prescott PLLC has been in practice for 13 years in the Prescott and surrounding areas. We strive to research and offer a variety of treatment options so we may better serve our clientele. We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Prescott, AZ.
As an RN we are looking for a compassionate and caring professional to care for our patients and their families during their session at Psychiatric Services of Prescott PLLC. This position is responsible for ensuring our patients receive the best possible patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in healthcare and be able to work independently with little supervision.
Educational and/or Experience Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
- Current nursing license in good standing with the Arizona State Licensing Board
- Minimum of one (1) year psychiatric experience preferred
- IV experience required
- Knowledge and competent to administer low-dose (sub-anesthetic)
- Knowledge of EMR/EHR software
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for administering infusions
- Responsible for monitoring patient’s condition during the infusion process under the direction of physician.
- Responsible for maintaining quality assurance standards and completing required documentation .
- Responsible for inventory and submitting supply order to practice manager for supplies and equipment needed for patient care.
- Responsible for maintaining accurate records on supply orders and reporting any shortages to Practice manager.
- Responsible for following policies, procedures, protocols, standards, quality criteria and best practices to ensure that all supplies are available at all times.
- Maintains control and accountability for controlled substances, medications
- Perform other duties as assigned .
Skills Needed: Must have excellent communication skills (verbal & written). Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Must possess or have the ability to obtain BLS and ACLS training within 30 days of hire date.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
