We are developing an intelligent telemedicine platform that integrates various medical devices and leverages AI to enhance patient diagnostics and care. We are looking for a talented Software Engineer with expertise in AI and NLP to join our dynamic team in Washington, D.C., and assist in creating a cutting-edge chatbot for medical triage and seamless integration with telemedicine interfaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a chatbot for medical triage using AI and NLP technologies.
- Design and integrate interfaces for seamless interaction between medical devices and the telemedicine platform.
- Collaborate with biomedical engineers to ensure accurate data collection and processing from medical devices.
- Optimize NLP models to generate contextually relevant follow-up questions and summarize patient responses.
- Integrate ICD-10, CPT, and other medical coding systems into the chatbot for accurate SOAP note generation.
- Conduct extensive testing and debugging to ensure high reliability and performance of the chatbot and integration interfaces.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, NLP, and healthcare technologies to continually improve the platform.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in developing AI and NLP applications.
- Strong knowledge of natural language processing frameworks (e.g., spaCy, NLTK, GPT-based models).
- Experience with medical coding systems (ICD-10, CPT) and healthcare software development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar.
- Experience with cloud platforms and APIs for integration (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in developing healthcare applications or telemedicine platforms.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and data standards (e.g., FHIR).
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
