Established Environmental Equipment Company is recruiting a professional for position of Maintenance Technician in Signal Hill for dedicated long term contract. Contract is for the maintenance, tracking and deployment of vehicles, supplies and environmental testing equipment. We are a close knit organization with an emphasis on collaboration, exceptional quality and dedication.
Applicant should posses at a minimum; 3 years experience in the environmental industry or comparable military service; working knowledge of electronics; demonstrated warehousing experience; intermediate proficiency in MS Office and; clean driving record. Position requires individual who is punctual, reliable, professional, self starting and dedicated. Veterans preferred. Complete background, drug screening and reference checks performed on candidates.
Responsibilities and duties include:
- Time sensitive repair of electronic and mechanical equipment used in HAZMAT operations and Emergency Response
- Equipment and consumable stocking and issuing
- Deployment and delivery of equipment and supplies using 40’ trailer
- Shipping and receiving including dangerous goods
- Janitorial duties
- Extensive reporting and record keeping
Position is on-call 24/7 every other week and must be able to report to location within 45 minutes of being called or messaged, no exceptions.
