Key Responsibilities:

Utilize Mitek software to design trusses according to project specifications and industry standards.

Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure that truss designs meet structural requirements and project objectives.

Conduct lumber and building material takeoffs to determine material quantities needed for truss and wood frame building construction.

Prepare accurate cost estimates for truss projects, considering factors such as material costs, labor expenses, and overhead.

Review and interpret architectural drawings and construction plans to inform the truss design and estimation process.

Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to address inquiries, clarify requirements, and resolve any design or estimation-related issues.

Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in truss design and estimation software.

Adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards to ensure consistency and compliance throughout the design and estimation process
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (Construction Management, or related field preferred)

Proven experience in truss design and estimation, with a strong proficiency in using Mitek software.

Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to perform accurate lumber takeoffs and cost estimations.

Strong understanding of construction principles, building codes, and structural engineering concepts.
