Overview
Come grow with us by joining our team as a Commercial Business Development Representative! In this role, you will play a critical role for the company and will work alongside the Outside Sales Team within the Northeast Region and other departments. The Commercial Business Development Representative for the Regional/Retail division will be responsible for promoting and selling our commercial/specialty vehicles within a designated geographic territory. This is a “Hunter” sales role and will be heavily focused on outbound activities. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication and negotiation skills, and willing to gain a deep understanding of the commercial vehicle market. The primary objective is to achieve sales targets, build strong customer relationships, and contribute to the company's growth. You will report directly to the Regional Vice President of Sales.

Responsibilities
Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities you would take on in this role:
- Establishes, develops business relationships with prospective clients from outbound prospecting, internet leads and customer calls to generate new business for the organization’s products/services.
- Build rapport with potential clients and gather information to qualify leads.
- Initiate outbound calls to new and existing leads/prospects within the assigned region.
- Utilize various communication channels, including phone calls, email, and social media, to connect with prospective customers and promote Model 1 Commercial Vehicles' products, particularly mobility-equipped vans.
- Achieve and exceed monthly targets for setting sales meetings/ appointments.
- Collaborate with the Outside & Inside Sales Teams to ensure a smooth hand-off process.
- Provides lead scoring feedback and deal tracking to report lead close rate statistics
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and lead information in the CRM.
- Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective clients.
- Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service groups.
- Identifies advantages and compares organization’s products/services.
- Plans and organizes outbound prospecting strategy by maximizing the Return on Time Investment
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs within the NEMT, taxi, and rideshare markets, providing valuable insights to inform sales strategies and initiatives.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in an inside sales, telemarketing or customer service role.
- Strong entrepreneurial drive and desire to grow within a structured sales environment.
- Strong knowledge, or willingness to learn commercial vehicles, industry market trends, and industry regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in using CRM software, MS Office suite, and other sales tools.
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving market dynamics and business priorities.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
