Job Description: The Cultivation Technician reports directly to the Cultivation Manager and is responsible for all daily tasks in their assigned areas within the Cultivation Facility. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
- Working in Greenhouses with a variety of tasks within the plants life cycle.
- Must understand and implement the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures set forth by the state; a pursuit to further their understanding and knowledge of the industry and laws is appreciated.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Physical aptitude and health necessary to perform manual labor tasks required for the proper management of grow systems.
Minimal Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must pass a CORI background check and be willing to submit personal information to become a licensed state agent.
- Ability to stand, sit and kneel for up to 10 hours a day with the ability to lift heavy object
- Must have meticulous attention to detail and a strong desire to produce a high-quality product.
- Able to demonstrate sound judgment and problem-solving.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Have consistent transportation to work.
- Able to work on ladders/staging/scaffolding.
- Able to work in loud and bright growing environments (eye and ear protection provided).
- Must have accountability, proactive behavior and strong attention to detail.
- Strong attention to details and excellent time-management skills.
- Willingness to take direction.
- Other duties as assigned.
Physical and Environmental Requirements
- Able to work 8 to 10 hours shift, including weekends.
- Able to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds.
- Able to sit, squat, bend, and kneel repetitively throughout the workday.
- Able to stand for extended periods.
- Able to use a ladder (up to 12 ft extension) and general hardware tools needed for common repairs.
