Job Overview
The accounting assistant will be responsible for cash management. In addition to this the accounting assistant will also track sales of products and services, track employee commissions and create invoices for vendors.
Responsibilities:
- GL Accounting
- Journal entries
- Bank Recs
- GL Reconciliation
- Analyze and audit vendor reports
- Analyze and resolve any account discrepancies
- Follow up with company vendors and customers regarding discrepancies
- Contact vendors and create service orders plus follow up
- Prepares daily sales reports.
- Tracks employee commissions
- Prepares payroll reports and tracks employee time sheets-bi-weekly.
- Prepare OT premium reports
- Maintain 1094/1095 Records
- Investigate and resolve any employee inquiries regarding payroll and timekeeping data
- Revenue reports as requested
- Accounts Payable
- Rental property accounting
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in operations, accounting and/or customer service
- High Proficiency in Microsoft Excel a must and Access a plus
- Self starter with problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication/customer service skills
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- High degree of professionalism and integrity
- Yardi or similar
- Microsoft Nav (Navision) or similar
