Settlers Bay Lodge is looking for a motivated, hardworking and positive individual to join our team. Must be fast on their feet and possess the ability to to remain calm in high-stress situations. When working on the line or in the kitchen, you can expect to work closely with all other staff members to ensure a positive dining experience for all our guests.
Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Completing the responsibilities, and the prep list created by chef.
- Preparing and stocking the salad and dessert line for the night ahead.
- Correctly portioning and preparing orders in an efficient and timely manner.
- Labeling and stocking all ingredients so they can be organized and easily accessible.
- Preparing ingredients by washing and chopping all vegetables, portioning, etc.
- Maintaining a clean and orderly workspace by sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash, refreshing utensils, etc.
- Performing other kitchen duties as assigned.
QUAILIFICATIONS:
- 1+ years of previous kitchen experience preferred.
- Able to meet the physical demands of working in a busy kitchen/restaurant.
- Organized and capable of multi-tasking with attention to detail.
- Enjoys and works well being part of a team.
