Electronics Technician
- Responsible for troubleshooting, design/implementation of equipment controls and automation.
- Perform assigned tasks, including diagnosing and troubleshooting automation controls and programs, making appropriate changes to equipment programs, and installing new circuits and controls.
- Highly prefer experience with writing and troubleshooting PLC languages supported by IEC 61131-3.
- Must have familiarization with machine networks and will work with IT as needed to develop and maintain machine networks.
- Must be proficient in the reading of technical manuals and schematics.
- Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
- The position will be a 1st shift, but must be open to shift work (when needed), overtime, and on-call as needed.
- The position is approximately 60% electrical, 25% mechanical, and 15% administrative.
- Work independently under limited supervision (self-management).
- Perform breakdown root cause analysis.
Qualifications;
- Highly prefer a vocational certificate or associate degree in electronics, industrial automation, or robotics.
- 5 years of Industrial experience and/or 2-5 years of education in Electronics or Industrial Electricity preferred.
- Must have a good working knowledge to include, but not limited to, the troubleshooting and repair of VFDs, Motors/Wiring configurations, PLCs, Computers, Electrical Schematics, Control Circuits, and Preventive / Predictive maintenance.
- Familiarization with AB PLC processors (CompactLogix and ControlLogix preferred) and input/output modules. Knowledge of other non-A&B control systems such as G.E., Texas Instruments, and Redlion would be a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38.00 - $39.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
