This person will oversee the sushi & steakhouse kitchen operation in Marssa, a AAA 4 Diamond restaurant. The candidate should have in-depth skills and knowledge of all kitchen operations, specializing in sushi, wok and overall Asian cuisine. Capable of producing a consistent product to meet and exceed guests' needs in a timely manner. On a daily basis must monitor food production, quality and consistency, staffing levels and department training. This person will also be responsible for menu creation.
Job Requirements:
* experienced Sushi Chef
* customer service orientated
* good communication skills
* must have (or be willing to obtain) Clark County Food Handler Safety Training card
* ServSafe certification required
* Additional skills & knowledge to include: culinary education, cost control, communication skills, computer skills, organizational skills, guest contact experience and culinary teaching skills and knowledge.
