Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Leadership: Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company's vision and goals, ensuring seamless execution across all departments. Oversee day-to-day operations, including fundraising campaigns, logistics, and resource management, to optimize efficiency and effectiveness. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes, productivity, and performance metrics.
2. Strategic Planning and Execution: Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to define long-term strategic objectives and growth plans. Operations Position Description 2 Lead the development and implementation of scalable operational frameworks to support company expansion while preserving core values. Identify market trends, opportunities, and risks to inform strategic decision-making and maintain competitive advantage.
3. Team Management and Development: Provide leadership and mentorship to a diverse team of operational professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation. Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular performance reviews, and facilitate professional development opportunities to empower team members to reach their full potential.
4. Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including department heads, to ensure alignment and collaboration across functions. Act as a liaison with external partners, vendors, and community organizations to foster mutually beneficial partnerships and enhance the company's reputation and presence in the community.
5. Financial Management and Budget Oversight: Work closely with the finance team to develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support operational objectives and strategic initiatives. Monitor key financial metrics and performance indicators to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and drive informed decisionmaking. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Proven track record of success in operational leadership roles, preferably in the fundraising or nonprofit sector.
