Position Description
Support position with responsibilities focused upon troubleshooting and repairing electrical,
hydraulic, pneumatic or mechanical problems with equipment.
2.0 Position Responsibilities
2.1 Apply knowledge of lockout procedure prior to performing work on equipment.
2.2 Maintain fluid levels in hydraulic reservoirs.
2.3 Maintain equipment filters and change as necessary or per PM schedule.
2.4 Repair any hydraulic, air or water leaks in a timely manner.
2.5 Grease equipment as required or defined in associated instructions.
2.6 Maintain PM of safety devices on equipment.
2.7 Perform emergency repairs and preventive maintenance as scheduled by Maintenance
Leader.
2.8 Ability to read and understand all prints related to performing this position.
2.9 Must be able to look up parts and order them in a timely fashion.
2.10 Must be able to prioritize repairs in order of importance.
2.11 Participate, as needed, in internal problem solving/improvement activities.
2.12 Other duties as assigned by supervision.
2.13 Know and understand work order system.
2.14 Maintain Fork Lift maintenance check list.

3.1 Educational Requirements
A. Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or a minimum
of one year related experience, training or combination of education and experience.
B. Proficient use of personal computers and computer operation within a network
environment.
3.2 Language Skills Requirements
A. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and
system documentation.
B. Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of associates.
3.3 Mathematical Skills Requirements
A. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers,
common fractions and decimals.
B. Ability to calculate percentages and proportions.
3.4 Reasoning Ability Requirements
A. Ability to actively participate in problem solving activities.
B. Ability to apply logic to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
3.5 Physical Requirements
A. Ability to carry up to 75 pounds.
B. Ability to torque up to 180 lbs.
C. Moderate to heavy physical movement and exertion.
3.6 Training Requirements
A. Completion of supporting training requirements matrix.
