The project is all about moving their WMS legacy data to BlueYonder WMS.
The candidate will be responsible for aligning and prioritizing backlogs, particularly in the food and beverage industry, and must be capable of working independently. Key responsibilities include building metrics, curating backlogs, addressing security remediations, upgrading infrastructure software, quick escalation follow-up, and managing incidents and vulnerabilities. Regular interaction with business partners is essential.
More familiarity with the systems mentioned, and a bit of hands-on would be a great add-on and a must.
This role involves working directly with business stakeholders and requires someone who can effectively lead, split tasks, and deliver results across teams.
What candidate does in this role:
Product and System Oversight: Support warehouse operations by managing and optimizing product and system performance.
Backlog Management: Align and prioritize product backlogs, addressing business challenges and bringing them to the attention of relevant stakeholders.
Security and Infrastructure: Handle security remediations, infrastructure software upgrades, and vulnerability management.
Stakeholder Interaction: Engage with business partners to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
Agile Leadership: Lead conversations in an Agile environment, taking ownership of meetings and driving projects forward.
Project Management: Manage the full SDLC, including testing, change management, outage management, and operations.
Skills:
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with programming technologies, commercial software development, and customization. Understanding of Scyc and supply chain operations is a plus.
- Security and Systems: Familiarity with security impacts, upgrades, and warehouse management systems (WMSs).
- Business Acumen: Ability to enable product processes, bridge process gaps, and collaborate with vendors on software systems like CRM and Salesforce.
- Hands-On Experience: Practical experience in project management, with a background in handling legacy systems and transitioning to new systems like BlueYonder WMS.
Additional Requirements:
- Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime as needed, with prior approval.
- Onsite Involvement: Active participation during project cutover periods.
- Vendor Coordination: Ability to work effectively with external vendors according to the software systems used by them. For instance, CRM Salesforce etc.
Service Delivery Manager: This role involves working directly with business stakeholders and requires someone who can effectively lead and own the meet, split tasks, and deliver results across teams.
Security and Vulnerability Management must – It arises from project run-time or sometimes during team interactions. (Incident management exp is the key)
Business stakeholder management – Collaboration – Agile way of handling needed during the meetings.
