Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our patients. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health status
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patients' conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, treatment options, and self-care techniques
- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures, such as CT scans and gastric lavage
- Provide direct patient care in various settings, including acute care, behavioral health, and primary care
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality
- Utilize electronic medical record systems (e.g., Cerner) to document patient information accurately
- Perform laboratory tests and analyze results to support diagnosis and treatment decisions
Skills:
- Strong clinical skills in acute care settings
- Knowledge of sterile processing techniques and infection control protocols
- Experience in behavioral health assessment and intervention
- Proficient in administering gastric lavage procedures
- Familiarity with primary care practices and preventive healthcare measures
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient privacy
- Ability to interpret diagnostic test results accurately
- Competence in using electronic medical record systems (e.g., Cerner)
- Proficient in laboratory procedures, including specimen collection and analysis
