Job Summary:
Check out this exciting opportunity! We are seeking a dynamic Clinic Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the First Steps 822 Outpatient Substance Use Clinic. This role will involve supervising staff, problem solving, and ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning of the clinic. The Clinic Supervisor will also play a key role in evaluating compliance, monitoring revenue, and assisting in the clinic's development. Education:
Minimum Master of Social Work
Licensure:
LMSW Strongly Preferred
LCSW preferred
Certification:
Seminar in Field Instruction (SIFI) preferred, or willingness to obtain SIFI
Work Experience:
Minimum 3 Years of clinical supervision
Minimum 3 Years working with individuals utilizing substances
Duties and Responsibility:
- Report to the Director and manage the hiring, supervision, evaluation, scheduling, and corrective action of both paid and volunteer personnel (interns).
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly statistics with expected deliverables to meet required metrics.
- Establish linkage agreements with potential referral sources.
- Take part in assigned internal committees and attend external meetings as assigned.
- Lead weekly team meetings.
- Adhere to all department policies and procedures.
- Regularly review and assess applicable legal and professional requirements and monitor treatment plans for clients.
- Initiate, implement, and monitor compliance with evidence-based practices.
- Assist with chart reviews, as well as provide day-to-day clinical oversight of the clinic.
- Complete required documentation in a timely and high-quality manner.
- Work with clients to create individualized service plans and crisis prevention plans.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Understanding of Harm Reduction and its core principles.
- Understanding of Trauma Informed Practices.
- Proven experience in understanding and demonstrated ability to generate revenues for clinical services.
- Experience with Medicaid/managed care and other types of client billings.
- Knowledge of OASAS regulations.
- Experience working in the community and knowledge of community resources.
- Strong written and oral communication skills are necessary.
- Reliable and consistent attendance and punctuality at work is a must.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and Saturdays Required.
