We are currently seeking an HR Professional to lead our efforts in our “people first” culture!
Our Human Resources Manager will be responsible for various aspects of human resources, including: onboarding/offboarding, benefits, worker’s compensation, and HR compliance. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of HR practices, have an ownership attitude, and view no task as too large or too small.
WHAT DOES THIS POSITION INVOLVE?
Benefits
- Administers all benefits
- Facilitates enrollment and modifications to benefits
- Acts as liaison between employees and insurance company
- Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits
Risk Management
- Provides support and guidance to management and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise
- May be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices
- Manage all worker’s compensation claims & reporting requirements
Onboarding/Offboarding
- Coordinating new hire procedures including background investigations
- Conducting new employee orientations
- Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
- Conduct and document exit interviews
Other
- Maintain accurate records and personnel files
- Ensure accuracy of payroll/system data
- Manage all leaves of absences
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR IN A CANDIDATE?

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and manage an ever-changing workload
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Must be able to work with all levels of associates
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Education and Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of human resource management experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of employment law and practices in CA, AZ, NV, and UT including Family Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, various leave laws, discrimination laws, and wage and hour
Preferred Requirements (Optional)
- PHR or SHRM Certification is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
