ESSENTIAL FUNCTION:
The primary purpose of this position is to assist the controller in various accounts payable, accounts receivable, product costing, and TTB alcohol drawback functions on a monthly basis.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Credit card Review/Expense Review
-
Calculation of month end commissions
-
Invoice coding review
-
Back up accounts payable functions, as needed
-
Review of payroll
-
Performs Accounts Receivable tasks with-in finance department
-
Assisting with product costing
-
Prepares the monthly drawback with accuracy by reviewing various manufacturing reports including but not limited to bills of materials and alcohol production lots.

Communicates regularly with the Processing, Extraction Managers, and R&D Department in relation to manufacturing reports, alcohol inventories, and formulate approvals

Ensures formulations match up with alcohol utilization.

Submits non-beverage formulas, and samples, to the TTB, as appropriate.

Submits beverage formulas, samples, and labels to the TTB, as appropriate.

Aids in facilitating customer requests as it pertains to TTB regulations.

Performs quarterly inventory reconciliations on alcohol.

Performs other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL/SKILLS NEEDED:
-
Requires the ability to work independently.
-
Prior experience with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
-
Experienced in gathering data and analyzing information.

Requires excellent organizational skills.
-
Experienced in handling projects that require much attention to detail.

Must have good verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to multitask on several projects
-
English comprehension including speaking, reading, and writing is required for our business's necessity to ensure a safe and effective work environment.

A two-year college degree in Accounting, Business Management or equivalent accounting dept work experience.

One to two years of work experience with drawback and TTB filings, preferred
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Light physical effort working regularly with light-weight items, sustained sitting position. Able to use arms, hands, and fingers for the operation of a computer.

Able to communicate verbally with employees.

Seldom exposed to dirt, heat, cold, odor, fumes, noise, dryness, wetness, vibration and poor ventilation. Occasional exposure to dust.

Exposure to food allergens such as, but not limited to, milk eggs, tree nuts, wheat, and soybeans will occur.
