Job Summary:
Required Skills/Responsibilities:
This position will provide care to outpatients
- Proficient in the use of digital x-ray equipment and confidence with the manipulation of imaging techniques according to a patient body habitus, physical abilities and conditions, and body area being imaged.
- Competent with digital tomosynthesis mammography equipment, or motivated to cross-train into mammography.
- Consistency in positioning anatomy and upholding ethics of minimizing radiation exposure to patient.
- Collects necessary patient information and thoroughly documents to prepare radiologist for optimal exam interpretation.
- Flexibility in a team setting and the ability to produce high quality images while working independently.
Education and Experience:
- Oregon Board of Medical Imaging Certification (Temporary or Permanent Required)
- ARRT(R) Certification, or obtained within 90 days of hire
- ARRT(M) Certification, or obtained within one year of hire
- Completion of BLS from American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
- Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program
Schedule:
M-Friday 8 am to 5 pm
Pay:
$30.74-45.14/hr depending on experience and internal equity.
