A Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company in Canton, Massachusetts is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd Shift (3:30 PM - 12:00 AM) to setup, maintain and operate the production equipment. SOP / cGMP guided working environment and the knowledge on utility system are preferred.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Have basic mechanical skills and electrical knowledge
- Prefer experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Study blueprints, sketches, drawings, specifications, and manuals to understand the basic information and procedures of machine operation and setup.
- Setup the equipment for SOP controlled production activities.
- Provide technical support for equipment operation and production
- Perform assigned maintenance
- Document for corrective maintenance and production status
- Troubleshoot machines running for production
- Have good habits for sanitary and safety
- Current health referral is required.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: One-year certification from college or technical school, two years related experience and/or training.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITY: Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge and experience. Ability to use common mechanical and electrical tools.
