- 5 Days a week: Monday to Friday
- Maintains equipment and supplies to include:
- Cleaning and disinfection of equipment,
- Operating and troubleshooting specialized equipment and patient monitoring equipment and
- Anticipating and assisting with maintaining adequate inventory of supplies.
- Participates with in-service opportunities and staff meetings.
- Accepts direction from supervisor or physicians and adheres to established routines.
- Maintains patient’s rights to privacy by not discussing privileged information outside the work area or within hearing range of visitors/family or client.
- Maintains flexibility and performs other duties as required.
- Reports errors of commission/omission.
- Handles patient specimens per procedure..
- Explains procedures to patients, places patient at ease and offers reassurance as needed.
- Keeps all working areas clean, neat and stocked.
- Cleans rooms after each patient and leaves ready for next patient.
- Prepares patients, as requested by physician, according to type of procedure.
- Assists with answering the phone when necessary.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 44 per week
