Title: Medical Assistant- Remote Patient Monitoring

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our patient monitoring team. In this role, you will utilize your medical expertise and communication skills to remotely monitor and support patients' health and well-being. Your primary focus will be on ensuring accurate data collection and proactive intervention to promote positive health outcomes.
Responsibilities:
1. Patient Monitoring: Monitor patient health data collected through various devices and platforms, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
2. Data Analysis: Review and analyze patient data for abnormalities, trends, and potential health concerns, escalating issues to healthcare providers as necessary.
3. Patient Education: In coordination with our Customer Service team, educate patients on the use of remote monitoring devices, interpret data trends, and provide guidance on lifestyle modifications and self-care.
4. Communication: In coordination with our Customer Service team and as needed, maintain contact with patients via phone or secure messaging platforms to assess their health status, answer inquiries, and offer support.
5. Care Coordination: Collaborate with healthcare teams to relay patient updates.
6. Documentation: Accurately document patient interactions, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records or designated systems.
7. Compliance: Ensure adherence to patient privacy laws (HIPAA) and maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
8. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of remote patient monitoring protocols and procedures to optimize patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent qualification.
- Proficient in using various remote monitoring devices and healthcare technology platforms.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and health data analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a remote setting.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and upholding ethical standards.
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving technology and procedures in remote patient monitoring.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in remote patient monitoring or telehealth.
- Familiarity with common chronic conditions and their management.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills, especially in languages relevant to patient populations served.

Pay: $18.32 - $19.45 per hour
