The Showroom Coordinator will greet and welcome guests into the showroom and coordinate
showroom activities to ensure an excellent customer experience
Responsibilities:
- Greet, welcome and direct customers as they enter the showroom
- Represent the Visual Comfort brand through polished communication, personal
appearance and professionalism
- Answer phones and direct to appropriate associate within the showroom or escalate
to the showroom manager
- Support the visual and quality standards within the showroom
- Coordinate meeting preparation and catering for showroom
- Ordering, stocking and maintaining showroom office supplies
- Enter and manage all sales documents including quotes and orders
- Assist in management and coordination of all shipping and logistics
- Own follow-up and follow through for customer inquiries, quotes and orders
Requirements:
- Experience in customer service or reception in interior design, luxury home furnishings or retail
- High school diploma, college degree preferred
- Superior communication and organization skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize, focus and provide complete follow-through on all aspects of responsibilities
- ERP system and process proficiency
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and changing priorities
- Keen eye for design and creativity
- Ability to achieve results both independently and through others by fostering a spirit of
teamwork and cooperation
- Must have a positive, hardworking "can do" attitude and demonstrate a willingness to learn
- Available to work a flexible schedule
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
