Job Summary
MiHome Systems is looking for a Property Maintenance Technician - Part Time. This position is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the exterior and interior of a private residence. This role involves performing a variety of tasks including lawn care, landscaping, minor repairs, and general handyman duties. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and have a strong background in residential maintenance.
Primary Responsibilities/Duties:
- Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, watering, and weeding.
- Maintain landscaping, including trimming shrubs, trees, hedges and flowers.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property and identify and address maintenance issues.
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition and properly stored.
- Clean and maintain outdoor areas including driveways, walkways, and patios.
- Assist with seasonal maintenance tasks such as snow removal and leaf collection.
- Manage waste and recycling disposal.
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repair work when necessary.
- Provide excellent service and maintain open communication with the homeowner.
The person who will succeed in this job will have:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in lawn care, landscaping, and general handyman work is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of lawn care equipment, gardening tools, and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Ability to handle physical work, including lifting, bending and working in various weather conditions.
Pay is commensurate on experience.
