Job Title: Lead IT - SAP S/4HANA, SAP Rise, SAP Business One, EDI Implementation
Location: Charlotte, NC
Reports to: CFO
Job Role: This role is responsible for leading and overseeing the successful implementation, integration, and optimization of SAP systems and EDI solutions within the organization. It requires deep technical expertise in SAP S/4HANA, SAP Rise, SAP Business One, and EDI, as well as strong project management skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementation Leadership:
- Lead end-to-end implementation projects for SAP S/4HANA, SAP Rise, SAP Business One, and EDI solutions, from initial planning and scoping to deployment and post-implementation support.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including business leaders and external consultants, to define project objectives, scope, and timelines.
- System Integration:
- Ensure seamless integration of SAP systems (S/4HANA, Rise, Business One) with existing IT infrastructure, applications, and business processes.
- Develop and implement data migration strategies to transition from legacy systems to SAP platforms.
- EDI Implementation:
- Design, configure, and implement EDI solutions to facilitate electronic communication and data exchange with external partners, suppliers, and customers.
- Monitor and optimize EDI transactions for efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT).
- Project Management:
- Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation schedules for SAP and EDI projects.
- Track project progress, manage risks, and escalate issues as needed to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
- Training and Support:
- Provide training and support to end-users and IT teams on SAP functionalities, best practices, and EDI processes.
- Create documentation and manuals to facilitate user adoption and system maintenance.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Rise, SAP Business One, and EDI trends, advancements, and best practices.
- Recommend and implement enhancements and optimizations to improve system performance, scalability, and user experience.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience (15+ years) in implementing and supporting SAP S/4HANA, SAP Rise, SAP Business One, and EDI solutions in a corporate environment.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, etc.), SAP Rise capabilities, and SAP Business One functionalities.
- Hands-on experience with EDI standards, protocols, and tools (e.g., AS2, SFTP, XML).
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP S/4HANA, SAP Certified Associate – SAP Business One).
- Experience with SAP cloud solutions and migrations (e.g., SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP Business ByDesign).
- Knowledge of industry-specific EDI requirements and compliance (textile, apparel, retail, e-commerce).
