About the Role: We are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design and develop new systems, applications, and solutions for enterprise-wide cyber systems and networks. Ensure system security needs are established and maintained for operations development, security requirements definition, security risk assessment, systems analysis, systems design, security test and evaluation, certification and accreditation, systems hardening, vulnerability testing and scanning, incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity. Ability to provide analytical support for security policy development and analysis and resolves integration and testing issues. May interface with external entities including law enforcement, intelligence and other government organizations and agencies.
This is a remote position, and you can work from home in most locations within the United States.
Responsibilities:
- Integrate new architectural features into existing infrastructures
- Design cyber security architectural artifacts
- Provide architectural analysis of cyber security features and relate existing system to future needs and trends
- Provide engineering recommendations and implementation and execution of changes
Required Qualifications:
- One or more of the following certifications; CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner, Certified Ethical Hacker, CEH, and/or Certified Network Defense Architect, CNDA
- Experience with Data Loss Prevention technology, familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud operations, Amazon Web Services, certificate management services and automation techniques and execution
- Knowledge of current Information Security / Cyber Security protection mechanisms and processes
- Ability to travel 10%
Desired Qualifications:
- 4 year technical degree or prerequisite demonstrated experience (minimum 5 years) in Information/Cyber Security Engineering capabilities
- Experience with Data Loss Prevention tools, techniques, processes and system actions
