Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling financial records, including maintaining the general ledger, reconciling bank statements, and preparing financial reports.
Responsibilities:
- Perform full cycle accounting duties, including but not limited to recording day-to-day transactions, general ledger maintenance, bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions on a regular basis.
- Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Provide support to the Partner in planning, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Prepare and process forms 1099 for vendors.
- Assist with payroll tax and other filings, as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Full Cycle Bookkeeper or similar role.
- Experience working with multiple clients in a CPA Firm environment is highly preferred.
- Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Relevant certification (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper) is a plus.
