Position Responsibilities:
- Completes the initial client nutritional assessment, creates therapeutic and individualized client meal plans that consider the needs of the patient including medical, nutritional, cultural, age, religious and ethical concerns.
- Conducts individual and group sessions with client based on level of care.
- Provides weekly updates on the nutritional status of each patient caseload as part of site team meetings and to outpatient providers.
- Involvement and management of sourcing of groceries, meals and food for site from outside sources.
- Facilitates supported meals and snacks, including eating and coaching to support with goal of reducing eating disorder behaviors.
Education, Competencies and Credentials:
- Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalency from an accredited program through ACEND, Graduate degree preferred
- Licensed in State of Employment as Dietitian/Nutritionist, if applicable; or willingness to obtain licensure upon hire
- Minimum of 1 year experience working as a Registered Dietitian; ideally in field of eating disorders, preferred.
- Strong interest in working in the field of eating disorders and behavioral health nutrition.
- Food service handling license, if required by state, or will obtain upon hire.
Hours: 40 hours per week M-F,
