Fast-paced Medical Billing office seeking dependable Insurance Accounts Receivable Specialist. Candidate must be organized, have the ability to multitask with ease, be goal oriented, self motivated, and have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Some of the duties required are, but not limited to:
· Provide all Clients with the highest level of customer service when representing their interests.
· Identify and resolve issues with unpaid insurance claims.
· Familiarity with the No Surprises Act and Texas Department of Insurance Dispute processes
· Correspond with patients, insurance companies, and Clients via phone calls, letters, and/or emails in a professional manner.
· Update Plan IDs and Patient/Payer demographic information.
· Able to utilize software provided to perform these tasks.
· Adhere to all Coding Guidelines, CMS Medicare, Medicaid, and or private, commercial guidelines.
· 2 or more years of experience in Medical Billing and Coding is required. Preference will be given to candidates with Anesthesia billing office experience.
· Other projects and duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
