Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Consultant in Boston, Massachusetts and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Work You’ll Do
Drive the development of Cloud-based technologies, including data cleansing and conversions, interface design and development, and systems development life cycle. Participate in the delivery of comprehensive network transformation projects; help achieve the most out of existing infrastructure. Enable end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud by driving the design and development. Drive various aspects of the full software development life cycle, which includes requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations, and urgent issues. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities; estimate time and resources needed for the development work. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document; support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the various components in the design.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:

Utilizing Structured Query Language (SQL) Server Integration Services (SSIS), Azure Data Factory (DF), and Databricks, to perform data cleansing, data conversions, interface design, and interface development;

Utilizing Azure DF, Logic Apps, and Functions to design and develop data conversion strategies, as well as facilitate mapping and cleansing workshops;

Converting legacy data according to current system data structure using data warehouse concepts, including Azure Data Migration Assistant (DMA), Data Migration Service (DMS), and SQL Server Migration Assistant (SSMA);

Creating technical and functional specifications including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code by employing Microsoft (MS) Visio, Confluence, and draw.io;

Designing and implementing disaster recovery, storage architecture, and network architecture by leveraging Azure Data Lake, Virtual Disks, and Backups;

Performing root cause analysis and documenting results through use of Azure Monitor, and Log Analytics; and

Deploying custom developed application including process design, prototyping, code development and review, and unit testing utilizing Confluence and Azure DevOps.

Hours: M-F, 40 hours/week.
