Job Title: MRI Technologist
Location: Concord, NC
Blended Rate: $2520/wk
Shift: 3x12s - 36hrs - Nights
We are seeking a skilled and experienced MRI Technologist to join our healthcare facility in Concord, NC. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing accurate and timely imaging services to our patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the scanning process.
Responsibilities:
- Operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners to capture high-quality diagnostic images of patients according to established protocols and physician directives
- Ensure patient safety by following strict guidelines, protocols, and standards for MRI procedures, including screening patients for contraindications and ensuring they are properly prepared for the examination
- Position patients and select appropriate imaging parameters to optimize image quality and obtain accurate diagnostic information
- Administer contrast agents and other medications under the direction of a physician as necessary for enhanced imaging
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure their comfort, safety, and cooperation throughout the examination
- Evaluate images for quality, ensuring proper identification and labeling, and communicate any important findings to the interpreting radiologist
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring complete documentation of procedures, findings, and other essential information in accordance with departmental policies and regulatory standards
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of quality patient care
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot technical issues with MRI equipment, promptly reporting any equipment malfunctions or discrepancies
- Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols to minimize risks associated with radiation exposure and the handling of hazardous materials
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required
- Current CPR certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist preferred
- Strong knowledge of MRI procedures, protocols, and safety measures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals

- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and on-call coverage as needed
