Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Injector free of a collaborative agreement to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for assessing patients and writing orders before services provided by our med spa and performing procedures.
Responsibilities
- Collecting patients' H&Ps and performing patient assessments, including allergies, past medical and surgical, and medication history, sun exposure, cosmetic products usage, exclusion from treatment criteria, identification and evaluation of treatment site as indicated, specifics of procedure performed, and patient response to procedure, before procedures including selecting the appropriate doses of medication/solution
-Writing orders for each procedure, including medication or substance name, dosage, route, anatomical site for administration
-Educating patients about their diagnosis and treatment plan
-Talking about the benefits and risks of a proposed treatment plan
-Explaining the alternatives
-Performing procedures include Botox injections, filler injections, EZ Gel injections, PDO threads placement, PRP/PRF injections, and microneedling with PRP/PRF
Skills
- Knowledge of advanced nursing practices and the ability to apply this knowledge in med spa settings.
- Experience working as an aesthetic injector.
- Trained and certified to perform various aesthetic procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, and other team members.
- Commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: From $80.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 – 10 per week
