Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive Management: Oversee all aspects of facility operations including medical, nursing, financial, and administrative.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to nursing home regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and manage a quality assurance program that aligns with healthcare standards and addresses any deficiencies.
- Personnel Leadership: Lead recruitment and training processes, manage and mentor staff, and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Financial Stewardship: Develop and control the facility's budget, ensuring efficient use of financial resources.
- Resident and Family Relations: Maintain effective communication with residents and their families, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed promptly and with empathy.
- Care Coordination: Oversee care planning and medication administration protocols to ensure the well-being of all residents.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field.
- Experience: At least three years of prior experience in a supervisory role within long-term care or assisted living settings.
- Certification: Must be a licensed Nursing Home Administrator in good standing.
- Skills: Strong leadership and organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficient knowledge of industry regulations.
- Personal Attributes: Demonstrated ability to handle complex situations with tact, enthusiasm, and a patient-centered approach.
