About the Role (job title and summary):
The Sr. Wholesale Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives that build brand awareness, generate leads, and drive sales growth within our wholesale channels across all Acreage states. This role works in conjunction with the Director of Brand Strategy and Brand Manager, and in close collaboration with the entire Wholesale team, Digital Marketing, Creative Services, Compliance, and Wholesale Dispensary partners.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
CAMPAIGN DEVELOPMENT & EXECUTION (WHOLESALE):

Collaborate on the creation of comprehensive playbooks for:
- Product Launches

Pop-Up Events (Wholesale)
-
Brand Ambassador Strategy & Training
- Develop strategic plans for product launches (pre-launch, launch, and post-launch phases) for the wholesale channel.

Crafts compelling campaigns to launch and promote brand products to wholesale markets.

Develops in depth campaign briefs to submit to Creative Services, ensuring clear and accurate creative builds.

Oversee the execution of national promotional campaigns, pop-up events, and brand ambassador programs for the wholesale channel to include sampling plans and performance.

Act as a brand steward, upholding brand and trademark standards and consistency in all projects.

Track campaign performance and analyze results to identify areas for improvement in future initiatives
WHOLESALE MARKETING OPERATIONS: -
Manage the Brand Marketing budget allocated for wholesale marketing activities.

Oversee the continuous maintenance & maximization of Lingo and various wholesale-specific tools (ex: Leaf Link, Repsly, ExploreBotanist)

Coordinate with Creative Serv on the creation of local marketing assets for wholesale partners (price cards, sell sheets).
WHOLESALE PARTNER ENABLEMENT: -
Develop and maintain the JANE Digital Merchandising Program to support wholesale partners in collaboration with the Digital Marketing Director

Update the store locator on ExploreBotanist.com to ensure accurate information for wholesale customers.

Oversee the Dutchie Brand Portal and wholesale Trade platforms to maximize merchandising and sales opportunities.

Design & implement targeted campaigns and provide selling tools specifically for wholesale.

Develop in collaboration with Sr Director of Product Marketing SeedTalent training modules.
DATA ANALYSIS & REPORTING: -
Continuously monitor market performance and trends to inform strategic decision-making.

Conduct in-depth analysis of campaign performance (both national and local) to identify areas for improvement.

Track launch performance and analyze results for new product introductions within the wholesale channel.
Skills to be Successful (minimum qualifications):
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Must be 21 years of age or older
-
Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Management, or related field (or equivalent in experience)
-
5+ years of Marketing experience in Cannabis or other heavily regulated industry
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
COMPUTERS AND TECHNOLOGY:

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe, and various software tools

Highly skilled and knowledgeable about social media platforms, digital marketing, and engagement

Knowledge State Cannabis Marketing regulations preferred

Ability to travel to multiple locations as necessary; must have reliable transportation
