Job Summary:
The Distribution/Collections Systems Supervisor's principal responsibilities are the efficient and effective operations of the Water Distribution and Wastewater Collection System.
Must have knowledge of modern techniques, methods, procedures, principles and practices of all phases of the water and wastewater system operations. Must have the ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with contractors, subordinates and other City related departments.
The incumbent will be responsible for making sure that all system construction, repairs, maintenance, and modifications are completed according to rules and regulations on required disinfection, bacteriological testing and sanitary precautions to ensure the safety of the public and fellow employees.
Qualifications:
Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in water distribution, maintenance and repair work is required.
At least 5 years of supervisory experience in the water and waste water fields.
Education/Training:
A high school diploma or GED is required
License or Certificate:
A valid Texas driver’s license is required.
A valid Class A CDL Driver’s License issued by the State of Texas is preferred.
Must possess and maintain a Class C Distribution and Waste Water Collection II License.

Pay: $62,250.00 - $66,426.00 per year
