Responsibilities:
· Initiate three point of contact with supervisor, injured employee and medical provider.
· Conduct thorough investigation of claims, including reviewing incident reports, medical
records, and other relevant documents.
· Interview claimants, employers, witnesses, and healthcare providers to gather pertinent
information.
· Process and manage claims from initial filing to resolution, ensuring timely and accurate
processing of authority.
· Develops subrogation and third party recovery potential and follows reclaim procedures.
· Ensure timely payments of claim bills (medical, legal, vendor) and indemnity
payments.
· Calculate benefits, including medical expenses, wage replacement, and rehabilitation costs.
· Work with insurance carrier, Medicare Section 111, MSP, and any other reporting entities to
file necessary documentation.
Requirements:
· Four (4) years successful experience as licensed workers compensation adjuster
· Bachelor's Degree preferred
· Adjuster license for automobile and general liability required within six (6) months of hire
