Our organization is looking for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialized care to geriatric patients, helping them to regain and maintain their independence. This position requires an individual with a passion for physical and rehabilitation medicine, as well as the ability to work with a variety of medical professionals. We are looking for someone who is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of an occupational therapist.
- Assist patients in developing, recovering, and maintaining daily living and work skills.
- Educate patients and families about the use of assistive devices, adaptive equipment, and other therapeutic interventions.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the occupational therapist.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Provide geriatric care to elderly patients.
- Provide physical and rehabilitation medicine services.
