The Financial Analyst will play a critical role in supporting analysis for the Water Management business unit, along with fulfilling core treasury responsibilities and bolstering the control environment for the Americas Region. The requirements of this role are varied, and NORMA Group is specifically targeting an individual with range who can not only build and apply proficiency with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and Treasury software to reliably execute standing deliverables, but also leverage business knowledge to impart insights and drive best-in-class results. Essential Job Functions:
- Analysis: support business unit leadership in a wide-ranging capacity to drive decision-making processes for the Water Management business unit, with the potential for ad hoc assignments on behalf of the Americas region.
- Treasury: execute core operational deliverables on behalf of the Americas region.
- Control: collaborate cross functionally throughout the Americas region to ensure rigorous adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies.
Primary Responsibilities:
Leverage ERP/EPM proficiency to support requests for financial analysis and grow the Water Management business unit globally.
Generate and analyze financial statements, including income statement, balance sheet and cash flow, and contribute insights.
- Assist in the development and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) to track financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Identify trends, opportunities, and risks through financial analysis and provide recommendations to management for strategic decision-making.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to assess Strategic Business Unit (SBU) performance and develop strategies to optimize profitability and operational efficiency.
- Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes by preparing financial models and conducting scenario analyses.
Execution of core Treasury-related responsibilities, including cash forecast development, payment processing, adherence to Group requirements and driving consistent processes throughout the Americas.
Participate in financial audits and compliance activities, building partnerships across the Americas region and throughout Water Management business unit to confirm control environment, with an eye on bolstering processes and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Education and Experience:
- 2-5 years of experience in Finance, with an interest in building broad-based proficiency in financial analysis, treasury and controls.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration is required.
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- ERP/EPM knowledge (Microsoft D365 proficiency a plus).
